Pinal has a variety of experiences dealing with SQL Server over the past 8 years and has worked with environments with Terabytes of data and environments that had over a 1000 databases. Pinal has upgraded over 500 SQL Server 2000 instances to SQL Server 2008 so far. In his recent server tuning project, Pinal was responsible to optimize the server which was generating more than 1 TB data in short span of 10 minutes and at any moment there were more than 10000 concurrent transactions on database. Pinal has also mentored many projects where he has helped design .NET system architecture to take advantage of the updated Microsoft Technology as well efficient database design.
